NuScan 2800U Omnidirectional 2D Bar Scanner – Designed primarily for P.O.S. retail environments, the Adesso NuScan 2800U is a hands-free heavy-duty desktop barcode scanner that allows you to continuously and rapidly scan various barcoded items without omissions or errors on first-pass reads. Its built-in 640 nm engine and fast 30 FPS scan rate allow you to reliably read barcodes on various shapes and is a great space-saver for busy or limited workspaces. The 2D scanning engine offers decoding capability for 2D barcodes like PDF417, Data Matrix, QR Code, MicroQR as well as common 1D barcodes. The scanner?s spill resistant design helps to prevent fluids from staying inside, which would otherwise cause damage to the scanner. Equipped with its CMOS sensor the device has a motion tolerance of 5 inches per second, offering fast and accurate scanning results. With its drop protection design, the NuScan 2500TU is less likely to become damaged due to accidental drops. The 2D CMOS decoding engine is able to scan barcodes up to 12 inches scan depth.
